We are so close to being alright in this league. We will survive, I'm sure of it.

We were always going to be in the bottom half of the league.
We are competing every game and giving ourselves a chance to survive and then try and build on it.
This is not the millers of last time in the championship.
You can’t pick one player who is not giving everything.

Also I think Vyner will be a decent player in tine. He was up against a good player yesterday.
We write players off too quick.
First away win to come at Hillsborough 😊

Vyner made a few mistakes today though tbf he was against Preston's stand out player. Callum Robertson is our Ryan Williams. Most Preston fans think a big money move is on the cards.
23 year old. 29 goals from 95 games not a bad return.
Tbh I don't think it matters how well vyner plays most think Jones is a better player (me Inc) and every mistake will outshine every good tackle...

Compare with Ryan Williams - for us 62 appearances (League and Cups), 4 goals

I thought we were very unlucky yesterday. The boys put a shift in yet again although it did lack a bit of the fizz that we have shown over the last 3 or 4 weeks, the first half especially. The goal against us was very lucky as we had handled everything very well up to that point and I did not see it coming.

The 2nd half was much much better than the first and we could have had all 3 points but for a bad pass or the wrong pass that stopped us in our tracks.

On this showing (where we were not at our best) our first 3 points away is on the cards very soon.

I have to take my hat off to Warny and his staff as we now look like a team that are growing in confidence and starting to believe in ourselves. I have no idea where it came from but Paul seems to have found his tactical head and we are looking a lot better both in defense and attack. Maybe he is starting to use the staff around him a bit more and listening to advice? He has built a fantastic support staff around him and it would be stupid not to listen to them.

We still need to be a bit more aggressive in midfield and put more than just a foot in when it is needed, for me right now that is the only problem the team have. Hopefully we can get someone in Jan who can throw a bit of weight around.

    UTM!

Yes one big midfielder to stamp his authority and one speedy forward and we'll pick up more points than we are doing.
We got some good breakaways yesterday as we did at Boro and just didn't have the composure to capitalise. I'll happen and we're getting better month on month

Just a thought on Vyner. Their Callum Robinson...bird's nest head......got way too many crosses in for my liking although Vyner did force him to the by line rather than cutting inside.

Preston were a decent at the tippy tappy stuff but with no real end product so I can see why they are at the bottom

Right. They seem like a real team. There were people saying before the start of last season that it was 'jobs for his mates' etc. He's got staff around him that he trusts.

Ryan Williams is a very talented footballer and easily capable of performing in the championship .

Unfortunately for Ryan he suffers from depression at various times and it does affect his career .

He's generally been playing very well this season - it's just his finishing that hasn't been sharp, but you could say that about most of the Millers players . Causing our opponents a lot of problems though

I reckon that the club is quite capable of dealing with his health.
