Tam Courts has left Honved by mutual consent.
The agreement was made yesterday afternoon and confirmed by the club today.

The translation: We terminated the contract with the Scottish specialist by mutual agreement
Tam Courts is leaving the Budapest Honvéd bench after our club terminated the contract with the head coach by mutual agreement.
The Scottish specialist took over the management of the Honvéd in June 2022, after summer training and significant changes in the squad, he sat on the bench in Kispest for the first time at the start of the 2022/2023 season. He managed our club in a total of 12 league and 2 cup matches, in which he had 5 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats, and he played an important role in the inclusion of several of our academics in the senior team.
We thank Tam Courts for what he has done for the Honvéd, and we wish him the best of luck in his future career!

Have i got their position in the pecking order all wrong as 5 wins and 4 draws from 14 is kinda what i expected for them.

I don't know the reasons behind him leaving Utd, but I thought he was on a good thing at Utd and could have built something, and that Honved just seemed a bad career move at that this stage for him.

Think he deserves credit for going over there, obviously a very positive person and I don’t think his record at Honved was too bad to be fair.

That's the point though, he had better job security at Utd, could have continued to build his reputation at Utd and got a move 2-3 seasons down the line, just seemed a daft risk to be moving there this early when he had a good thing going at Utd this soon in his career.

Still think he left knowing we rode our luck a lot that season, probably wouldn't better it, and the teams around us just couldn't get any decent runs going. And quite a few times we couldn't have picked other fixtures results any better even if we tried. "Carlsberg weekend" I'm sure some mentioned.

I honestly think he thought his stock was very high, and might not be that high again, and thought it was a great opportunity to move on.

Not sure he ended up where he thought he might have though, there were a few bigger clubs names being thrown about. But... that again might have just been the media or an agent etc.

I wonder if the racism of the fans might get a wee mention (whether true or not) because in my opinion their results seem about right for a club their size, and where they normally sit in the table. Strange one indeed.

Agree. Those results don't normally get the coach sacked. Maybe the club felt progress wasn't being achieved fast enough or maybe there was Ultras on vigil outside his hotel.
Or maybe the players told him he was playing the wrong formation 😎

There's rumours he was homesick too.

Be very interesting to see where he goes next.
