I think Grant is highly effective and clearly a class above most players in this league. He's playing wide left, so he's always going to be less involved than central players, but when we're attacking, particularly during the 2nd half of home games, he's as involved as anyone else. Plus I've seen him sprint back on several occasions to try and get a tackle in. What more could anyone ask for? We're lucky to have him.

He's great for us. Drifts in and out of games, but displays the kind of class we haven't seen since Alan Judge.

I'd be genuinely surprised if he doesn't stay til the end of the season. He's currently in with a shout of being the L2 top scorer at the end of the season - which is partly due to how we play, with our strikers taking the defenders focus.

He's based in Notts and unless Forest want him back to play him I genuinely can't see why he'd want to go to Wigan or Peterborough, just to get L1 football. He can do that next season with a trophy and promotion under his belt.

Unless we re-sign Stanley Aborah of course, in which case you would be spot on (snigger)!

I've said this before that some people seem to be worried or concerned that Forest are going to recall Grant and Yates in January and either throw them into the first team or maybe sell one or both of them. Why would they be that desperate to do that?

They both signed on a season long loan in the summer and that is what it is. Forest are not reliant upon these players returning in January. They will be fine this season without them. The Championship is a lot tougher than League Two therefore these players should not be made to run before they can walk.

Grant and Yates have come here to learn their trade and develop over the course of this season. Whatever Forest decided to do with them when their loan expires will be their business. But for now let's enjoy them and like McGregor and Grealish helped to keep us in League One, let these help us to get promoted to League One.
