its obvious why israel are in a different qualifying area to arab countries, australia now as in the past occasionally are in the asia section for different reasons than that of israel.

but gibralter and spain are both in the euro sections so under no circumstances should they be kept apart.

poland and russia dont get on, but theyve met several times in international games, as has many eastern european sides who have political differences.

and everyone hates the french but still have to play them if drawn against them.

I was in Lyon during France 98 when USA played Iran.

Both sets of fans were side by side in the campsite with not a problem.
