    The long term unemployed should be shot IMO.

    or at the very least their benefits should be reduced by 20% for every 6 months they're on the dole.

    Of course the minimum wage should be raised at the same time to make work pay more than idleness.

    As the low paid would then have more disposable income, this would boost the economy. Tax breaks for the rich do not make as much of a difference because the phukkers just stck more into their ISAs/pensions etc.
