    To be straightforward, rather than spouting hate-filled sectarian vitiol, maybe hibs should get their finger out and play better than trying to find excuses. They do live in the nation's capital, after all. If they're not able to compete, it's nobodies fault but their own.

    It's not a competition to see who was the first to wear "green". It's a football championship.

    Irvine Welsh is a despicable individual. He should stick to writing trash novels about rubbish that nobody reads.

    some of his books are p1sh, however I have enjoyed a few, perhaps you should read more wee boy, it helps broaden the mind :

    I watched Filth at the weekend.

    A Bit disappointed really. McAvoy was immense in it though.

    As for his books, most are very good. Maribou Stork Nightmares and Trainspotting in particular.

    Never read any of his books but really enjoyed Trainspotting. Filth wasn't as good but had some good bits in it. Good luck to the guy, he's clearly got a gift for writing and is a fan of Hibs.

    I liked Trainspotting,Glue and ****o. The recent one was ok. The rest I didnt like but thats not a bad score really for any author if you like 3 or 4 of their books.
