    We have three quality centre halves and an adequate stop gap in McCartney When have we ever had more than that.Its our strong suit..Do those clean sheets mean nothing?
    if we had as many FIT quality center halves as you suggest we wouldn't be fighting relegation,
    no we have not scored as well as we should but we have rarely had a decent steady defence dispite those 10 from 24 clean sheets.

    the key against Villa is having pace at the back, as they are lightning on the break. They love to play counterattacking football, shame is that we won't give them the chance by attacking them in the first place. Personally I'd bring Winston back and keep Tomkins, Collins is too slow
