Over ambitious here but the special one seems to be looking to offload Fernando Torres in the summer. Won't be worth anywhere near the A£16.5 million he's valued at on transfermarkt.com. Could see Chelski wanting to deal at A£8-10 Million. Could also see Torres wanting to stay in London and with a shiny new Stadium on the horizon it might not be as far fetched idea as it seems. I could see Torres rejuvinating his stagnating career with us he'd be lethal in conjunction with Carroll.

The most ridiculous part is Allardyce playing with two strikers.

I remember him saying when he got the job that he would play two different systems with the 451 being our chosen formation away from home. . . . . . .I'm guessing the dual striker formation is still a work in progress.

No I really can't see that happening. A more astute manager would take a punt though.

That would be a fantastic signing if it ever happened. AC & FT would be a cracking combination.
    Thinks...Two upfront with Allardyce?

a lot of the biggers if they happen, will come purely for the dough (like lucas neill)

hardly coming for the rebirth of ajax or barca in their prime, with toady running tings innit

Rodwell's a good shout but his injury problems are worrying to say the least. Armero I hope we will sign permanently, I've seen him play and for £3 million would be a bit of a bargain.

    re: Who would you buy?

Following on from the question that it's not who I'd want to buy but who Allardyce would want to buy, I see Steven N'Zonzi wants a transfer.

    Exactly Sam's cup of tea.
