Hearts Fans have shown remarkable resilience and loyalty in times of adversity at their club. Others should take this as a template for supporting and sticking by their clubs during troubled times.

All joking aside, Pogue, to get 8,000 pledgers from 10,000 season tickets is nothing short of phenomenal. Especially during the current financial climate. Would you agree with Celtic nearly going t1ts up 20 years ago and Rangers 2 years ago their problem was they are simply too big a club to organise something like this? Maybe their size went against them?

It is remarkable what the Hearts Fans have done and seems to be very well organised and lead by people with a wee bit of skill and acumen which always helps.

Celtic fans backed McCann in huge numbers as he oversaw Celtic's transformation from a private limited company to a PLC in the most successful share issue in the history of British football. In the first share issue over 12,000 Celtic fans invested an average of ?1,000 each, helping to refinance the club, and that was in 1994.

Rangers fans are a wee bit different and never really backed Murrays share issue as things started to go tits up and he had to underwrite it to the tune of ?50m and Green's IPO was not that well backed by their fans either...they kind of expect a 'sugar daddy' to run their club hence they are creaming themselves aboot this King character.

So maybe size should go for you and not against you?

Aye. I also don't understand why Rangers need about 4 different fans groups, surely that fractures the support? I know they're big but they're not Barcelona.

I don't know AJ but they are fragmented as a support and that Dingwall seems like a right thick fat c**t and makes me laugh when I see him on the telly.
