Which model of Gretsch do you have Erchiebaird?

I played a 64 Country Gent in a studio once, it was a beaut.

I think he's being used by folk looking to make a quick buck. He played the most sublime blues guitar at the tail end of the 60s and should be left in peace now.

His biography is depressing.

I think I'd pass out if I saw Peter Green. His playing on the Live At Boston albums is the best guitar playing you could ever hope to hear.

Watched a Levon Helm documentary the other day (Ain't In it For My Health, I think) - really sad to see him on his way out. Great drummer and an unbelievable singer.

Weirdly I saw Peter Green playing with a band up in Orkney a few years ago. He just stood at the back of the stage and didn't really do a lot sadly. Not sure if he's in a fit state. [/quote]

Saw him with the Splinter group at the Edinburgh Venue a few years ago, same sort of thing, he looked is if he genuinely didn,t know where he was.
