Ok, so my post is a bit garbled but the basic facts bear scrutiny, which I've noticed you dont address.

the point is, singing sectarian songs is unacceptable, but it seems from some of the posts on this thread that rangers fans didnt want to be stopped singing them.

The whole ethos of the vast majority of Rangers fans is to sing anti-Catholic bile at fitba matches...always has been and always will be...its what defines them and its what inbred in to them...Ibrox and Windsor Park are probably the only two fitba grounds in Europe where a player 'blessing themselves' upsets the crowd.

Shame for the few decent Bears that they have to listen to this nonsense at the fitba.

My problem with the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012, is this part :-

    "1.
2(e)other behaviour that a reasonable person would be likely to consider offensive."

This is open tae far too much abuse, I mean, I would love tae know how many reasonable people are offended by the very existence of Sevco Rangers and their use of the Rangers and brand seeing as their previous incarnation shafted so many people out of so much money ? Their behaviour should be subject of a criminal prosectution under this Act. And dont get me started on how ugly they are as well...yeeeech !
