    I said the following thing about Grant many many times on Clarets Mad. I don't know if anyone really took it on though!!

    He's not rubbish, but he's certainly dubious. In my opinion he never really conceded any howlers, but he did leave you wondering whether he could have done better with about a third of all the goals that went past him. Whether it's his reflexes or anticipation I don't know, but I'd sit there on the Turf and just think "I'm sure he could have done better with that". I've never thought this about any other keeper we've ever had.

    Brian Jensen for example would concede some absolute howlers, but then the week after he'd be man of the match making world class saves. For me Grant did neither. He's just a very very average keeper.

    great post and exactly what I've been seeing this season for us unfortunately.
