You'd go a long way to beat Band Of Brothers in my book to be fair, to be honest.
That said; The Pacific was mince.
That's interesting Danny. I never thought how getting into the psychology etc of the characters is as appealing to some viewers as storylines etc. Fans of The Wire enjoy it for it's gritty, earthy style and slow focus on the characters.
I'm more of a story guy with many twists gas cliff hangers and can settle for less focus on the psyche of the characters.
When you watch 24 you'll notice the difference in focus..away from the characters lives and more on the unfolding story.

Have watched both series from start to finish and The Shield edges it for me.
I'm gonna start the shield in the next few days then..
I think I enjoyed Prison Break more when I watched it than when I did all of Breaking Bad in the autumn there...Similar to my experience of 24, dying to find out what happens next...one more episode, right one more, right this is the last one, ok, one more episode...just one more f**king episode.
I'm not gonna start the shield, just had a look on BT Vision, it's Dexter they have, not the shield.Originally Posted by WangOneIn

Really enjoyed Breaking Bad, but I also took a wee while to really get into it.
Just downloaded House of Cards the a week or 2 ago and it's next on my list to watch. Heard good things about it
dexter is great up until season 6, but it picks up in 7, and the ending divided fans of the show, overall great entertainment
