    Always Ken.

Although Steve and claret are worthy nominees.

Imitation is said to be the greatest form of flattery, so thanks for the lassie. I'm touched...

    Why?

You can take only so much of a thoroughly nice bloke.
One can't help it, it's the way one was brung up
... what have you nominated me for btw... will I win some golf clubs ?
I may have to sign on for "edge developing" classes at night school in the autumn to take the shine off my niceness

re: Remember what happened on Fridays in the bad ole days?

Terrific article in this week's Football Mail about our former England star striker who went to AC Milan direct from Pompey (can't remember when such an important Transfer took place with a Burnley player, although I can remember them winning the League as on that midweek evening I cycled to Chichester and back in the mid 60s).

Whilst applauding Mark Hateley, it has reminded me of his Dad's Chelsea debut, which, by coincidence, was @ Turf Moor. Tony Hateley scored and gave the Clarets defence a torrid time before the Blues ran out 2 - 1 winners.

As Max Boyce used to remind his listeners: I know, because I was there.

Isn't it about time you and Steve had another truce? And can you try and stick to it this time.
