In fairness to the lad he were geet interesting when we spoke to him after the gig (helps ofing my brother-in-law around, especially when his magazine's gan to review the lad's CD). He got offered an recording contract while still deeing the Britain's Got Talent cack, but he turned it down. They* wanted him to dee pop songs and drop his band, but he has an plan to dee loads off of the folk music he loves, and bring his own work to as big an audience as he can. I were quite impressed with an young fella who were so committed.
