i'm not worried about it, i'm trying to tell you that national identity is systematically being eroded, as part of the UN's policy

they think it makes sense, what do you think the EU is, a phucking country club?

I'm no a huge fan of the EU but I'm not sure that they're systematically eroding our national identity.

Anyways, I think we've both said our piece.

Less than a third of players you watch in Premier League are actually English with no English Players playing in European Football.

This will dwindle even further next season with a further influx of foreign owners, managers and players.

Last season allegedly only about 60 English players were regular starters for their clubs so the choice of players is fast diminishing and they will be picking players from The Championship in a few years time.

It will probably take failure to qualify for a World Cup before England realise that their top league is to blame for the poor national team.

    That's ma opinion...

The only problem with this opinion is that in the 70's the English first division was probably 80-90% English and we didn't even qualify for the World Cup! More about the dreadful coaching I think.

or possibly the fact england didnt play many qualifiers in the 70,s.

they had 2 significant defeats to very good sides.

poland in 1972 and italy in 76.

and they unluckily drew with poland in 1973.

and ofcourse there were only 9 euro qualifying teams for each world cup in those days.

great achievement for scotland though, knocked the 1976 euro winners out twice.

Well the rangers and Celtic supporters do it now , they'd rather support England and Republic of Ireland before Scotland
