Never really understood why Saints have always had duff stands. West, East, Milton etc. We should stands after club heroes and ML is one for sure as he saved the club. OK, others may have come in after, but they didn't...he did.

So let's have a ML stand, TB stand and ...hmmmm i am stuck there...MLT is a legend no doubt but if you go down that path of naming stands after players how often will they change according to trends and fads?

I like the stands at SMS as they all represent parts of the city, but I wouldn't be averse to having one renamed after Markus. Would have to be the Itchen imo as that is where he watched games, and his daughter would then be watching from the Markus Liebherr Stand.

However the club have said they are planning a permanent memorial but it doesn't involve renaming a stand, so just have to wait and see.
