I wonder how much it is. I hope he doesn't go, I really like Russell and think he's done really well for us considering he's been played out of position his whole time here. I rate him above Dawkins and Ward.

miles better than ward and dawkins imo. i don't think there's any chance whatsoever of him going there. if i had to guess I'd say there were bidding 1-1.5m. only huge prem money would tempt us i reckon.

I don't see Johnny Russell being tempted to move. In reality the position he occupies as a wide forward is one where injuries can be fairly regular, especially from strains to muscles and ligaments as well as more serious problems such as hamstrings being torn (Ward).
I think 4 players for these roles are prudent and they will all get game time in the current set up due to injury, rotation, tactical switches etc
