Will you have wheels when you're down there, Pents ? If so, I can highly recommend a trip up to Mijas - park in the multi-storey on the edge of town and walk in. Don't be put off by the stink of donkeys as you exit the car park, the village itself is lovely.

If you do go and you fancy a spot of lunch somewhere nice, head for Plaza de la Constitucion, walk through the arch and hunt out Oscars. It's a pasta and pizza joint with views over the Costa that are about as good as you can get - been there several times and not had a bad meal yet.

If you're interested, I'd be happy to recommend several other places within an hour or so of Marbella that might be worth a look..

Back on topic, respect to anyone who went out and watched local football today.

Dulwich Hamlets record attendance of 1800 was smashed today, champion hill full of people. 2,800+ at the final count. There were only 600 and 800 at the last 2 home matches.

Oh and Bill, I had a word with one of your skate ultras there today, proudly wearing his skate top and whinging that someone (not me BTW) threw an empty beer can at him. He was a bit sozzled and told me a few things about you that made me piss myself laughing!

I look forward to your next jealous bile filled post as I now have ammo! You sad Muppet.

Had a non football day and went the Queen extravaganza in the Assembly, Leamington Spa. Brilliant event. They are the official act with original members of the band directly involved, and it shows. . First time I've ever been to the Assembly. The main area is cleared for standing which makes the whole experience even better imo.

    Burton Albion v Pompey is almost a non-league game: a former non-league team v a future one.

Seems they have prioritised the JPT.
