And on the topic of Martin & Assombalonga, Martin was branded a cheat and a diver or whatever on your board, but watching the highlights of our game with you shows one of the things that I hate most in footballers, waving their hands looking for a card. Your striker did that when Bucko got sent off, which I don't think was a red card, then said something to Bucko as he was leaving the pitch and started laughing. If a ref is to send a player off he's not going to do so on the accordance that an opposition player waves his hand as a gesture for a card. He looks like a very tidy player you have on your hands but that incident lacked a lot of class for me.

I don't think anyone was...just pointing out that we had a 25 goal striker last season and didn't get promoted.

The African Cup of Nations thingy is by no way means confirmed.

1st D R Congo has to qualify (Not sure if they have or yet to)

2nd; He's yet to play for them. Is considering the options. If the England U21 set up make a move and convince him, his future lies here, he might not play for D R Congo.

3rd: If he does go, of course he'll be missed, but I don't think he'll play so many games, DR Congo isn't a powerhouse, maybe 4 games max 5, which is lesser to what he would play in the Championship over the NY period, with league and FA Cup ties.

So he might still come back very refreshed and rested.

Whether his value goes up or not, depends on where he goes from us. A number of Tier 2 strikers set this division alight but found it tougher in the Prem, Zaha for example, even Vokes and Ings aren't really getting into groove as yet.

Still early days for him, but his star is shining brightly now.

I've not seen a lot of him to be honest, but what I have looks good. A strikers job is to score goals and he seems to be doing that with ease. Would I have him here? yes. Would I swap him for Martin? No.

Do the maths Dave. He only needs 12 in a minimum of 41 possible games. Barring injury that a goal every 3 1/2 games. That isn't a challenging target for someone who appears to have a talent for scoring at this level.

I thought they paid a lot for him at first but it seems a decent investment so far. As long as Antonio stays fit and hungry, the only way he won't be a 20 goal a season striker is if he is a 30...

There that should have cursed him!
