I think 4 months on from a Referendum where it's been shown that the Pledge had a big influence then the ire of the people would be heightened if/when the Pledge isn't followed through on.

I don't think you can damn the Pledgers out of hand just yet - they may follow through on it. It would take a change of habit i grant you but I think we should let them have the 4 months to see.

I really dont care mate the Vow couldnt even be detailed by those offering it and all NO kept bleating about was lack of facts. We have 3 knobs giving an ambiguous pledge about which they could offer no details. Why would anyone be remotely bothered about it.

The vote was NO we will get what we deserve as a result of that vote. My life and family will go on and they are a damn site more important than the lying kvunts peddling utter Sh1te to us. The Independence dream will now be for other generations not mine.

It's not about convincing you or me Stevie - it's about convincing some of those who voted NO just how they were lied to.

Many people who voted weren't around 30 years ago and anyway much of the political landscape (if not "principles") have changed.

But if in 4 months time people who voted NO can see just how much they were conned (if that's what comes to pass) then I think there would be a different outcome to a Referendum

YOu can't keep fooling people with the same lies when they're self-evidently lies after such a short time.

what a load of ******** ,flower of scotland should always be our anthem ,one day we will be free of the shackles of england ,and 46 % of our country are nationalists ,so flower of scotland represents the 46% who dont want anything to do with england .

I actually disagree that the 45% are nationalists. I voted Yes - I am not a nationalist. I will vote SNP at the next election - I am not a nationalist.

If you asked people who live in another country (eg Canada) if they want to have their government in another country (eg USA) well if they say no, they'd rather have their Canadian goernment in Canada, that doesnt make them nationalist. I want Scotland to have its own government becasue I believe that would be better for Scotland, but I am certainly not a nationalist.

"cap in hand" is more appropriate for Scotland's national anthem.

"we boast and then we cower" very apt lyrics for the 55%

It's possible there will be no Scottish national teams in the future, well until we are independent

May be a good idea, once we are a real country we will have more pride and actually progress past qualifiers and group stages!
