Still only 2 points off the top spot, although that could be four if Forest win at home to Ipswich tomorrow.
It seems that we are far from the only team having a 'wobble'!
FT 2-2 and it seems we were so very unlucky in the last 10 mins. Well there goes a week that has seen our enviable defensive record left in tatters.
We've leaked 8 goals in 6 days and earned just 2 points from a possible 9, it doesn't make for happy reading. With interest, I await the match reports from our regular scribes.

Pushed for all three but a point in the end a good result!
2pts out a poss 9 from very beatable opposition this week a poor return!
The mojo has gone missing, the team at times is a mess!
This is the point where Kenny starts to earn his corn!

A big improvement on Wednesday's game and the starting line up more or less as strong as Wolves could put out, maybe only Evans or Henry that would push for starts. Wolves at least today weren't as guilty as giving the opposition time on the ball and allow them to attack us with ease. A well taken header by Edwards from van La Parra's cross in gave Wolves the lead and i was hoping Wolves could learn from the past few games and hold onto a lead.
How wrong was i , mistakes made in key areas. The two goals Wolves conceded could and should have been dealt with. The first Wigan goal started with Stearman fouling Fortune. Even then, the defending for which Perch scored should have been dealt with. Even before the ball was put into the danger area, i could see Danny Batth with two players around him, Golbourne did come across and tried to pick up Perch, but for me, not tight enough. As for the second one, Wolves didn't deal with the ball into the box, i feel Stearman should have met the cros

All-in-all, the result has not hurt us greatly in the table; of the ten games played today seven (including Wolves 2-2 Wigan) ended in draws. We are still in seventh spot and at present just four pts from 1st.

I arrived at Molineux today with anticipation and a certain degree of trepidation after the inept performance on Wednesday evening.
If our match against Huddersfield did not warn the players that there are no easy games in the Championship then this match should have. Wigan are an experienced side and their position in the league is a false one.
We looked a much better balanced outfit than we were in the week and deserved our lead after a fine forward run by Edwards. For all the disparagement that has passed in his direction over the years, Edwards does have a very good 'engine.' Then what is fast becoming our achilles heel, happened. Teams appear most vulnerable after a goal and we are certainly that.
The ball was going out for a corner and as Stearman tried to hook it back he caught their player, almost on the line and he went down like a ton of bricks. The cross was fizzed in and no mistake was made with the header.
Poor defending and a little Wigan luck allowed their sec
