That Cole one must have been 'kickstarted' by the one that went in off his knee from Collison's shot hitting the post at Fratton Park on Boxing day. I remember that game well...was behind the goal.

Best I have ever seen Bellamy play.

I saw Geoff Hurst get 6 in one match (albeit one with his hand)

re: Five Goals In Five Games...

Other West Ham players to have scored in 5 straight games or more...

    Stanley Earle. (Twice)

    Edward Fenton. (Once)

Alec George Foreman. (6 times) Including scoring 14 goals in 9 and 14 goals in 8.

Geoff Hurst. (4 times) Including 14 in 7 games.

    Richard Leafe. (Once)

    Archie Macauley. (Once)

    David Mangnall (Once)

    Trevor Morley. (Once)

    Malcolm Musgrover. (Once)

    Martin Peters. (Once)

    Bill Robinson. (Once)

    Bryan Robson. (Twice)

    James Ruffell. (Once)

    Danny Shea. (Twice)

    Harry Stapley. (Twice)

    Vic Watson. (6 times)

    Edward John Wood. (Once)

    Terry Woodgate. (Once)

And finally the best is saved for last. The great Syd Puddefoot did it 3 times. But he holds the record for us that will never be bettered.

He scored in 18 straight starts for West Ham, banging in 29 goals.

Got some time off. Both my Mum and older Brother have been very ill, so me and my dad are looking after them.
