    re: This time last season

So my quote we beat millwall 5-1 (under Clough for context) which we have failed to since (Mcclarens had two attempts at home) is delusional is it.

Ok when did we beat them since. As a home loss and draw in my book is not an improvement. In you land it may be I can't wait to hear how

I do wonder about people's levels of English and understanding of the written word I really do!

Lol you really have surpassed yourself . You were comparing like for like fixtures and now you are changing it to future fixtures Oh Mystic meg ratty!
Just because your schoolboy attempt to catch out Swales was spotted and you can't man up. Poor poor show.

Ratty I thought we only quoted facts like for like!
Millwall have a different manager, completely different team and we're playing at home!

Oh dear oh dear oh dear ... where is a reference to Like for like here? There isn't FACT

You are the one saying I only use like for like that is just 'one' of the measures I have used FACT

There is one reference to Millwall by me on this thread this is.

This is both correct and if it were used as a like for like as close as they can be is still correct FACT

FailDale got both the position, points and even number of games played completely

So you were saying at this time last season when we had played more games we had X amount of points compared to now? How is that relevant to anything?

Well done! Thats the title of the thread, thought it quite clear myself!

I don't mind being questioned as to how relevant that is, and offered an opinion on a better comparison, but thats not the same as telling me I'd got it wrong which I hadn't!

And it matters where we are now because? It's not possible to compare anyway, different teams, different players etc etc...

The only time it is worth discussing our league position is AFTER the last game...until then it's irrelevant.

Well yes then, when trying to prove a point about progression and comparing this season to the last, i would suggest comparing the same amount of games otherwise it's just a silly mistake from you or you being disingenuous, which is it?

It's relevance is to show a certain individual that we are a better team now than under Nigel. I know 99% already know that to be the case but to try and persuade the other 1% the facts don't lie.
