    I think it's time to call a truce on the subject. For me it's not about who contributed most or if someone gave more than the other. It's about remembering the poor souls who had their lives taken from them whilst fighting for their country. There is a very high probability that Hammers and 'Wall followers fought and fell side by side in both World wars and I doubt very much that were kicking the s,hit out of each other in between attacks.
    On a personal note I would like to see the camouflage kit adopted by all clubs in the 4 divisions for a "one off "every season at rememberance weekend. Sand colour for the home side and green camouflage for the away side with any proceeds for shirt sales going to the different Armed Forces associations.
    Just a thought
