you can see ships moving from Birkenhead, but i wouldn't recommend a visit

actually, the view from Birkenhead is better as you can see the frontage over at Liverpool

it's the view from Liverpool that's the problem

Never been to Liverpool but I do know the city has spent fortunes over the last 20yrs or so doing up the city centre..

I loved Liverpool when I went there a few weeks ago,I only went to the touristy places but i was impressed with what I saw,Liverpool has really cleaned itself up over the past decade...

    Chalky,

Portsmouth is an ace City to visit as there are lots of things to see and do.

Gunwharf Quay and the Spinnaker Tower is worth a visit, a walk along Southsea seafront is always nice plus the Dockyard and museums.

You can catch the hovercraft over to the Isle Of Wight or take a boat trip round the docks and see what Royal Navy ships are in at the time.

    You wont be disappointed.

    It is.

A pub crawl along Albert Road in Southsea takes some doing, good luck if you try that!
