As I understand it yes.short term contracts would be best and re sign them when the ban is lifted.so if we shifted halford Collins and abdoun that would leave 5 places.i don't think we need much anyway.

    Spot on.

Sooner Abdoun and his 35k a week ass is booted the better.

Apparently looking a Plymouth youngster now.

Fawaz should be banned from making signings anyway.

I thought I`d seen some shockers in my time but the 2 Algerians take some beating.

I dread to think what we`re paying for Tom Ince who plays every game like he`s wondering why he hasn`t ended up at the San Siro.

On paper we should have more than enough to make a lasting push for the play-offs.

Don't forget all the new signings impressed in the first weeks of the season. SP just has to impose a clear vision and calm on the team.

    That's what he's paid for isn't it?

very true regarding Ince, if he was that good how come he isn't helping Dull fighting to get away from the bottom half of the premier league,

I think you have 23 established players, because the rules state that all loan players count as established players no matter how old they are, so Lascelles would be counted even though he is under 21 at the beginning of the season.

Also short term contracts are bad, if you are embargoed longer than this transfer window, because once it runs out and you get a new player, the max wage is reduced by 25% each time.

    re: Transfer ban

The FFP ban is last seasons dealings remember.

    PLAYERS IN
    Darius HendersonFree
    Eric Lichaj Free
    Gonzalo Jara Free
    Jamie Paterson £1.0m
    Dorus De Vries Free
    Djamel Abdoun £1.55m
    Jamie Mackie £1.om
    Kelvin Wilson £2.5m
    Rafik Djebbour £1.2m
    Jack Hobbs £1.3m

    PLAYERS OUT
    Lewis McGugan Free
    David McGoldrickFree
    Adlene Guedioura £2.5m

In addition there are loan fees, agents fees, wages etc etc.

So, it was -£6 million in transfer fees alone.
That hasn't happened this year. Look back at what has been shown the door as well.
Once Abdouns gone, then I'll be happier.

TTR, I am pretty sure that there is a flaw in your logic. Transfer fees are capitalised to the clubs Balance Sheet, and then amortised over the duration on the players contract. So taking Wilson as example...his fee was £2.5m but he is on a 4 yr contract, then £625k pa is what is hitting your P&L in the season

What I am suggesting is that your losses dont improve b

Seems the Bolton fans have to thank their former boss DF for escaping a ban so says ***** Bolton, they don't give us an figures but along with DF clever dealings and parachute payments they narrowly escaped the embargo.
