One look at the league table suggests the Fowler/Thomson combination is doing just fine .

All these rumours & negativity doesn't do the team any favours especially with some important games coming up

Queens have done the correct thing by getting shot of the 2 players who don't want to play for the club .

Time to move on as we've 17 league games remaining & a playoff place to secure

I am very friggin angry about all this stick JT is getting . This guy who has given more to the club than any mere mortal could and is combining community work , commercial side and helping out with the senior side . The guy is getting run ragged and maybe some should give Jim and the club the benefit of the doubt . Folk like JT are mainstays of Qos where as these two journeymen are not . Google both theirs and you will see exactly how many clubs they have been involved with . Numerous and various . Heavily rumoured they are joining up at Falkirk as well. Would liked to have been a fly on the wall when they concocted this plan together.

JIm Thomson is the most loyal respectful man in football you'll ever meet !

I remember the Hearts Home game he was running the hospitality as well as assisting James Fowler during the game.

    That's dedication and commitment.

Don't know how big Jim manages to do it as plus his 3 or 4 jobs / duties at Palmy he has also a very successful business of his own to run.

I am willing to give the club and management the benefit of any doubt in this whole sordid affair and I hope they have plans afoot to replace Kerr and Baird.

I along with most supporters will be bloody annoyed if by handing two experienced players to our rivals we blow our chances of a place in the play-offs.

[quote="Auld_Chippy" then I don't know what Mark Kerr recognises as such. I don't think Jim Thomson was too fussed about carrying on the Assistant Managers job for so long but he probably h

It has no relevance if Jim Thompson is the most loyal, trusted, experienced, biggest Queens fan / ex player in the world ever etc etc
You might be a expert at driving a car for 40 years but it doesn't mean you will be a good driving instructor.

JT is a decent bloke, Queens through and through but imo i wouldn't want him on the management team.

In your dealings with JT, what has led you to this opinion?
