He was left exposed for the penalty but looked a bit shaky on a couple of occasions in the first half. If zanders fit I'd give him the spot back on today's efforts.

He lost his place last time playing well then sliding in like a lunatic conceding a needless penalty. Yellow card and a Cup game could well just keep his place this time.

no surprise there then, you never were a great supporter of Jim were you?
Jim seems comfortable coming for the ball. He puts me at ease and so he presumably instills confidence in his defence. I thought he was a bit slow and a bit naive at the penalty but a young keeper will make mistakes. I like his quick distribution which is so like Lee Robinson I too thought he was exposed for the penalty but I can't remember Queens ever getting three penalties in two games and yet that is what we have conceded. In fact I believe that in 2012-13 we were only awarded 3 penalties all season. It is a mystifying stat that we scored a record total of goals and conceded a record few and yet we had 3 times more penalties given against us than for us. Bizarre. I'd stick with Jim.
Jim was crazy to come for that ball.
He will learn from it I hope.
Like last season against Dundee he has really cost us the game today but you will always get that with a young keeper.
Zander right now is the better keeper but Jim will get there in time
I criticised him once before, in the youth cup final, 3 years ago. If he hadn't been our no 2 keeper at the time i wouldn't have expressed my concerns.Originally Posted by Queens1
He's improved since then but Zander is the better keeper. While we've still got something to play for in the league, we've got to pick our best available team.
At least that response is a bit more dignified than your last comments about Jim.
Strange though that you did not post after his good performance last week.
Other than the penalty he did very little wrong today, but you are entitled to your opinion.
After watching Jim at Falkirk I was very happy to see him today. He will play v the Cup Holders, so, IMO, he should play v Cowden too. He will learn from today. Still a bit small for my liking but he has got a lot going for him.
Are you for real Jim never cost us the game today. What a load of rubbish Jim was not to blame for today its a team game. Critisism is only merited when it due And some of these posts are uncalled for Shame on you.![]()
