Mind you sounds like I didn't miss much eh!
Have we played Middlesborough yet? Just watched them against City and boy did they look good.
You are quite right, Mich. We have to find a way through these packed defences and turn our superior possession into goals. Although we have moved above Norwich, we are now three points away from a play-off place and it might as well be four with our goal difference.Originally Posted by MichiganWolf

Thanks for coming, Woody. You really know how to cheer us up. From Charlton's POV it was a point well earned, I suppose, but can't help but think that for us it was another two points gone begging.
Bolton next week should be interesting.
Anyway, I shall bid you all nightie night as I'm off to my bed to sob myself to sleep. :/

Wolves beat them 2-0 at home with goals from Sako and Dicko.
A lesson in what happens when you don't turn possession into goals. Too many times we took the wrong option at the business end.
I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but boy do we miss Sako.
KJ at his worst!
Wrong CF, crap subs got what we deserved out the game and lucky to get that!
Poor!
It was definately one of those games that can easily be forgot. Both sides lacked creativity, both defences dealt with the little threat thrown at them. Ikeme probably tested more than the Charlton keeper in the game. Iorfa and Hause having half chances in the first half.
At times in the game, especially the first half we often sat deep, but for the likes of McDonald and Price we had very little movement in front of them and were often closed down by the away side and at times resorted to the long punt to try and pick out the run of Afobe.
Jackett made the two changes for the second half, Dicko and Golbourne on for Henry and Hause. Golbourne at least offered a link on the left hand side and gave Wolves an option. He was often responsible for our set-pieces and also delivered some decent crosses. On the right Van La Parra was often doubled up on, he looked dangerous, but with very little impact. Doherty came on for Iorfa and didn't make much difference really.
Ikeme called into acti
Travel back seven days and this was almost a repeat of the Blackpool game. We really do have a problem with teams that arrive at Molineux and just do not want to loose. In fairness to Charlton they did try and attack us a little more than Blackpool, but in truth they were a poor side and were there for the taking.
We had loads of possession, passed the ball about, switched play but apart from one terrific through ball by McDonald, that Edwards just filed to get to, we offered little. We just needed that killer pass, but it was sadly missing.
The two changes at half time promised much but again delivered little. Van the man was having an increasing influence on the game, delivering several telling crosses, but with no end result. Afobe was working hard, showing his mobility and was very near when he stooped low for a close rang header.
A plus to me, was the fact that we did not resort to humping the ball forward in a desperate attempt to get a winner, prefering to try and play foot
