I always think of you as one of the more sensible, mature type posters and then you come oot with stuff like that

I predict Glasgow will be carnage on Sunday. I got football into perspective a long time ago and frm what Ive seen of the past 3 years, I prefer rangers in the lower leagues and non of the 'old firm' pish (despiute what bun after bun tells me I what I think). Scotland and Scottish fitba is better off without it in my humblest of opinions.[/quote]

Uh-huh, and would you still be ' happy' there were no old firm games if sellick were the team in the lower leagues?

I wouldnt be happy with Celtic in the lower leagues no bluek. I'd be happy there were no old firm games - no matter how much sevco fans seem to like to tell me I think otherwise.

I was going to give a flippant answer and say some random date and time but knowing you, you'd look it up, discover some aunt or uncle of yours died that day or something and your poor overworked mind would go into overdrive

    So my sincere answer.

I dont think there was a single moment in time. Age, travel, living in different cultures and perspective etc etc all helped me see football isnt important. I was never really that into it anyway. Ive got celtic cousins who wont wear blue jeans and Ive got rangers mates who wont let me meet their family because of the religion of my birth. I was neverr like that, never sang ra songs, always saw bioth sides, was happy to join the forces as you know.

Another wee point. When I see how much knowledge, intelligence, effort and energy football fans put into following their team, I actually feel a bit disappointed that all

It's the energy time and effort some 'fans' put into other football clubs that's not so much disappointing but baffling and un natural in behaviour

In Scotland, do you feel that 'other football club' is rangers more than any other, bluek?

Well if you can provide evidence that any other club has been treated like Rangers have over the past 3 years by other 'football fans' i will hold my hands up HB
