Thanks Oz. Unfortunately I am a bit older that you. but yes I have been Saints ever since I can remember and have enjoyed all the ups and downs over the years and wouldn't have it any other way.
In my opinion Pelle is very important to the way we play and without him we would be stuffed because there is no obvious replacement. Long did a decent job away at Ipswich in the cup but be is crocked for a while now so we are potentially vulnerable. Yes it would be good if Gratzi scored a few more goals but he takes the pressure up front and brings others into the game.
Tadic has generally under performed, but scored two very important goals recently against Arsenal and Man U.
We would all like to see Forster put himself about a bit more, he is after all a big lad, but hey only 17 goals conceded, the best in the Premier League , cant only be down to the defence in front of him.
Wednesday night against West Ham is a very big match. If we can get another win it keeps the pressure on th

Good to exchange views, ultimately we both want success for Saints.

I guess, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter who is standing up so long as somebody does and we get the win, its a team performance and at times some have a good day and some have a bad one. Its good to share views. Unfortuinatly I don't get to discuss Saints every day, Infact I don't know any other Saints fans in Oz except for 62 who is in Adelaide which is 1,448 kms away. I get to take the p!ss out of the plastic Man U & liverpool fans but realistic talks about whos doing what and why are non existant! My prediction is 3-1 against Spammers and I hope Grazzi gets them all. Thanks for your opinion, its nice to have a real conversation, I just wish it was real time rather than on line. COYS

Leave your 30 degrees plus temperatures behind and come back 5 degrees and frost, simple.
Match day experiences and real time conversations, you know it makes sense !

Tadic has scored some crucial goals and provided some great assists but dearie me he can be so frustrating at times with his lack of delivery, no end product and his tendency to run into cul-de-sacs.
At times he just needed to pull the trigger and he's resorted to trying to do something fancy and ultimately futile. He goes missing far too long and too often for me also. Still RoKo likes him so what do I know !?

Lallana had the same frustrating effect on me to a lesser degree.

Where are you located in Oz?

I have a cousin (native of Southampton) who lives at Avalon Beach north of Sydney. Unfortunately he is not really in to football although he always knows when we are doing well. He was a road runner and when I visited your side of the pond I did some training with him for the City to Surf run in Sydney. Beautiful neighbourhood along the northern beaches, we had some great runs.
Fantastic country, fantastic climate and great people IMO but a long way from St Marys.

I know Avalon well as I used to work in Brookvale, about three suburbs away. Now I live and work on the Central Coast about 75 kms north of Sydney.

I would not try the City to Surf! Way too far for me.

Ah Palm Beach. Happy memories. There is a lighthouse on top of the rock and after a determined climb, a fantastic view of the Pacific. Also a nice little 9 hole golf course on the peninsular. What with that, and all the babes on the beach, I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Hey Oz, what do you mean City to Surf to far. Its only a bit of a jog mate - although I do remember "heartbreak hill" as you approach Bondi. I'm an old timer, but currently busy training for our local half marathon. Just knocked out 20k this morning, back to work now - at least should be.
