We did better than other Scottish clubs have done in recent years. Which wasn't difficult, to be fair.

Oh dear... last week they were begging for decisions from referees and this week they're begging the SFA to throw them a bone... how undignified[/quote]

Ah the total hypocrisy of the whole situation. You lapped up the whole refs and sfa were against you stuff for a year under lennon yet when one team has had legitimate bad calls against them due to gross incompetence you suddenly don't care about poor refs.

Lessons about dignity from a celtic fan. Oh my sides are bursting.

After tanking a dreadful Latvian team, Aberdeen were good enough to get through against a Dutch side. A league rated in Europe's top ten.

They then had the misfortune to face a La Liga side and whilst being comfortably done in San Sebastian, gave it a good go at home.

I'm not sure this Celtic side who were horsewhipped against a Polish club, then tonked out by Slovenians - before amassing eight points from eighteen in a group containing Austrian, Croatian and Romanian clubs would have done any better.

In fact, last time I remember Celtic playing a Dutch side in this tourney, it was a 4-0 defeat in Utrecht (who are of similar standard to Groningen).

CONCLUSION - the Dons have so far been our best reps in Europe this season.

    Only a win on Thursday

Lads it's a bit like two skinheads fighting over a comb in here at times.

Celtic got pumped TWICE in the one seasonin the CL qualifiers and are about to go out in the last 32 of UEFA.

Aberdeen did relatively well in Europe compared to some recent performances by Scottish representatives.

Lets just leave it at that.
