Jamie ward can't even get a game as he's kept out by an unfit player in Russell. So looking from the side lines he sees a player every week on the pitch who cant put two passes together (Forsyth) and must wonder what the Hell!!! It dont take a genuis to work out that moral with the players will soon fall to a low eb if it hasn't started to already

ward - if you had gone to wigan you would have known he started the game and was absolutely useless. hauled off at half time after a shocking 1st half. we then went on to dominat

Anyone who knows about football must surely understand that once momentum has been lost it is time to move on. All the signs are there. Strong leadership is now required so we are in with a chance of launching a promotion bid next season.

We have some good players at this football club but a fresh perspective is required next season.
As the saying goes 'be careful what you wish for...' There are plenty of football managers out there who will gladly come to Derby County and within a few months turn a decent set up into a car crash. We all know it can happen, through grim experience.

Should have had a decent set of spanners in reserver instead of buying fualty substandard ones worse than the broken ones!

Just think we could get a tanned midget who likes to perform acts on Mercedes car bonnets, whilst having a drink or two in his hand and dreaming

[quote="AngryRam"]As always with football fans arguments go to both ends of the spectrum.
One set wants to burn the village and sack everyone after a poor run. The other (sometimes) misses what's under their noses.
Mc has made some major errors compounded by a spate of injuries to key players. Has he handled it well? In hindsight, no... I don't for one minute think he and Simmo are planning to lose the next game and throw away points.. So do I hope he goes? NO.. I am not happy with things at the moment but I am sure nobody is..
The counterbalance this, some fans are so wrapped up in being a 'good supporter', that they miss the obvious. The Clough blindness was a great example of this, he was never going to make it better.. Time to go without a doubt.
We are not there with SM & Simmo, they are going through a rough patch and that's it. IMO they have done enough in the past 18 months to be given the chance to put it right. IF we don't go up this year, then th

Do you consider Deeney, O'Conner and Doyle better back up than Roos, Albentosa and Dawkins?

I consider Bryson, Martin, Russel, Grant, Keough, Buxton, Ward etc etc etc better.

The players you mention were signed by a manager who was under very tight financial constraints against a manager withnsignificant funds.

However Roos or Deeney... How can yourself isotherm is a difference.

Albentossa or Buxton. Buxton by a country mile.

Martin for free and how muchness we pay for Bench warmer Dawkins.

I think you've inadvertently proved my point

Tell me with the current team that is primarily clough... Still... How.many signings of mcclaren can be classed as a success?

I think that says it all really

The fact that you have failed to directly answer my question again proves my point. What would you say the success rate was for good signings by Clough? 25% at best. For every Martin there was 2 Sammons (cost 3 times more than Dawkins). Dont forget Clough got rid of Shackell for Keogh, that's got to be the worst bit of business since Claude Davies
