re: More Aspects of the Lapping Deal not Adding Up

""I'm now wondering, given what has been in the paper today, whether there is going to be a massive fall out between Lapping and the remaining 2 dinosaurs. I see what you're saying about Pattison being sacrificed, but I'm thinking Lapping might have it in mind to get shot of the lot.""

Thats the whole point why not just borrow the cash needed [at virtually nil interest ] and then sell the club to the fans and let the local businessmen invest as patrons [ a much better way to do it as they can do it using their companies money rather than their own personal cash ] via a membership scheme wherby you can cover your yearly costs in discounts from the club.

If you spent £1000 with the club over the year your membership would in effect cost you nothing its the way forward for lower league clubs and the first one to do it could make a lot of money from it by selling their expertise to all the other clubs who follow.

    An opportunity missed.

You have missed something... In fact I would say all of it.. You thick ucker.

    Moorlad,

Whilst conjecture is probably the right word to express, would guesswork not have been more prudent, given the audience reading.

No Jay, it wouldn't for a couple of reasons. For one I have seen club accounts from a few years ago, and for another, as I have said I've done similar things with football clubs before.
