No he probably isn't one for the future, but we have a raft of young players plus a number in the U21's so an experienced head who does not crumble under pressure is an asset and he did score 12 in 17 games in an underperforming team, so not a bad option.
I'd disagree with you Swale here but that's the beauty of Football.

For me, Bent will be VERY expensive and he has proved to me that he doesn't fit our system, work hard enough or offer something in other areas to compensate for this.

If Martin is fit, he shouldn't play and if Martin is injured then by playing him we look a much poorer side.

    If I could

    "Jeff at RB" !

Think he would be at Villa in the blink of an eye...need a new RB sharpish

Do you think we should be planning for life without Will? (light the blue touch paper and step back!)

It's a good job he didn't miss a peno in the final game of the season when we needed his experienced head the most...

    And your point is? #****
That you're talking out your batty piece...again.

[b] Quite unnecessary Bear. Better to simply make a counter argument instead of the calling.
I'm sorry Gaymondo, but he's a massive twonk.
Well that was mature! Can I point out to you that my ***uality is neither known to you or non of yours and anybody elses business.

I politely asked you to refrain from calling and I get that crap thrown back.

    And you call hi

Btw the 3m a year contract is pathetic speculation. I was told 1m per year, so roughly 20k a week, which is still very high, but a considerable pay cut from his Real days

That would seem more realistic, with a full pre season and a new system with a new coach I personally think bent could well be a star buy!

The club didn't want to approach Hull until their season had finished out of respect. There's an interest. But relegation hasn't helped, as Bruce sees him as a ***** player next season. We want him, but Bent is more likely

    Let's hope it's not a falling star.
