When people who know what they're talking about - Ella, Angry and 'slasher - can disagree to such an extent over ninety minutes it maybe should make us realise how difficult Clem's job actually is.

Think you will find that we discuss it for a while, then ignore Slasher.. Then Ella and I agree that I was right all along.. Who else said something like that?Originally Posted by AnagRam

It's pretty much an impossible task, but he's being given enough resources to make a good fist off it. And from what I've seen so far, he is. Not seen Roger around here for a while. He likes a good fisting.
[quote="wristslasher_909"]I agree Butterfield is probably feeling the expectation a little, but his sublime pass to Warnock for the first goal got us into the match. We will see more from this lad. Stats from previous seasons don't lie.
Warnock's cut back to Johnson was perfect.
Ince may have been poor, but even when he's poor he can win matches on his own. He seems to get 3 or 4 good chances per game. A sign of a quality player. We don't want him doing all the fan pleasing tracking back and tackling. We want him in the opposition's half doing the destructive work.
Martin had a very quiet game. No service whatsoever into his feet. He needs Thorne in there to provide the ammunition. Same goes with Butterfield and Johnson. With George missing we look at 50%.
MK Dons played well. Don't forget this was something of a cup final for them.
Carson 7 - Although that could've easily been a 4, saved by Weimann
Christie 6 - A decent show of concentration
You're always close to the truth Angry, but the red mist can sometimes obscure your view.
Ella has a turn a phrase, but with such literary prowess I imagine he has never laced his own boots in earnest.
Red mist !!! I have NOTHING red and never will do.. Take that back you cad !Originally Posted by wristslasher_909

Carson 10/10 MOTM Kept the team in the game with "that" save and another instinctive save later on. Almost cost the day with a fumbled punch later but Weimann cleared off the line. Don't think PC can alternate Grant in v Brentford after that display....we'll see
Christie 9/10. Good performance but defence was generally vulnerable because midfield was wide open.
Keogh 9/10 Good enough but Derby were lucky not to concede more but the trouble lay in midfield and not defence.
Shackell 10/10 Would have merited an 11 but for a misunderstanding with Warnock{?} 2nd half which resulted in their winger romping away with the ball with options to pick out 2 attackers in the box in space and a certain goal...somehow the cross went to nobody and a certain goal was missed.
Warnock 9/10 His selection baffles me I have to say but his cross along the ground {which Angry doesn't ac
