Is this the same Tom Ince that has the ability to be as good as Gareth Bale? - Oh that was according to his Dad!
At the minute he is giving the ball away way to cheaply. On a separate note the commentator on Sky said that the Weds manager would have been disappointed that the defender ducked out the way of BJ's free kick!!! It would have taken his head clean off!

Tom Ince is being told to play wide out on the wing and he is being marked out of the game, especially as we do not move the ball round quickly enough. The latter point was made by PC on Sunday. Ince needs to have a roving role which sees him feeding and playing off Martin. The problem with that is Christie who needs cover, especially as he has no defensive positional sense, in fact he can't defend. He's a right-sided midfielder, come right-winger.

Not quite the easy 3 pts you thought it should be? Wednesday did a job on us and that was a good away pt

Swale please find the post where I note the game as an easy 3pts. I was the one telling RamBam that I thought they were a better outfit than Ipswich, Brum and Reading.

And I stand by that. They had one win five (now six). I think the result was more down to both teams being poor. If we turned up (or our front three turned up) we could have quite easily thrashed them. I don't think it was a brilliant defensive performance by them, they were solid but it was more down to the front three being poor and out of touch with the rest of the team.

It was a poor game mate with both teams restricting each other to speculative long shots. Still think Weds will finish above those 3 but its all about opinion

Well I find this amazing. There is nothing new about the attacking full back in the game. If it's the case that Christie can't defend either as a midfield player of full back and has no positional sense, then someone needs to get some serious 'one to one' coaching organised for this player, or replace him. Fullback is one of the most straightforward positions on the field of play, the requirements relatively uncomplicated. Tom Ince is never going to offer a lot of defensive cove

Apologies Manx I it was meant as a repost to Ramsbans post!

If you stand by that then IMO your judgement is a wee bit off, it was never going to be an easy game and whilst we could and maybe should have played better, Wednesday have some quality players and did a good job on us. Most would be happy with an away PT from a game like that, anything else is over expectation.

Can't agree that we could quite easily have thrashed them, on what basis? The reason our front three were poor in the first half was quite simple, there was no supply from midfield, Wednesday pressed high and prevented Derby building from the back, they had a plan to pull Thorne all over the pitch which nullified his ability to control the gam
