Bobby was a hero at Bramall Lane. We got him on loan for a few games. His first game was against our "massive" neighbors. Here's what happened......... - view external link

Yes Stamford, well done. He scored 2 goals for Halifax against us in the 2nd leg of the League Cup (or whatever it was called back then). We'd gone a 2 up, which put us 2-1 on aggregate, having lost the first leg 1-0. Bobby then bagged two and put us behind on aggregate but we levelled before full time. We scored 2 in extra time to win the game 5-2, 5-3 over the two legs.

We signed him not long after that, I think it was after Peter Taylor arrived?

Fists pumping, mullet flowing, never misses, look up Derby 2 Weeds 1 great picturing of him starting to celebrate scoring the headed goal that sealed promotion that day! Little gap where he has tooth missing I think.

In pop side that day, scored at the Ossie end then ran off towards the C Stand to celebrate

Top player, top finisher. Don't understand comments about what division he played? He was a striker and scored goals, that was what he was expected to do and he delivered, more often than not.
