Our wins this season have already been disregarded by one notorious poster as it has' only' been against Livingston, Alloa , Morton and Dumbarton . St Mirren have been beaten now so that's a fly in his ointment as they are a full time team and a bigger club than us . Each to their own though. If Fowler can get us into the play offs after such a squad turnaround , I will consider this a major success. Don't forget we are competing for our third play off spot in a row after previously winning the First Division. We are not a bad wee club at all.
Second Division was it not, with Queens being the final winners of that particular title before league reconstruction.

In the same vain you get those who think we are going to win the league after one victory.
If we hadn't won yesterday with the tough fixtures coming up it could have been the bottom of the table we would be looking at not the top!

The thing is though Stuart that the calling comes almost all from supposed fellow QoS supporters on P +B . The general clique think people on this site are thick, agree with everything the club says and will accept any kind of performance . Great point about wanting guaranteed success and supporting someone else then. I have , along with loads of others , been supporting Queens for around 40 years now ( six year old starting) . There have ALWAYS been up and downs . This is what supporting Queens is all about . They frustrates the life out of us but we keep going back because we love the club and always will . I feel I have had more enjoyment supporting QoS than your average Old Firm fan does because past experiences have meant that I don't take things for granted . This club is in very good hands and longer term , we will have other great times to come. The infrastructure is getting put into place to try and secure our future on despite falling crowds . The Board deserves a huge p

Is the Queen of the South thread on Pie and Bovril run by a member of the QOS website team - not big Skyline Drifter by the way.

Some may question why anyone involved with Queens should have anything to do with the said website

Jeez there`s some over the top stuff here folks. I use both sites and there are (IMHO) good posters on both. Both serve the purpose of allowing folk to express opinion about our club and other matters albeit the context is a little dfferent in that this site is largely just QOS fans and P&B a more diverse audience. Both have their place and both good value in my view. Not fond of the term cretin but if we use it, it could perhaps be applied on both sites. I find the majority of posters on each site pretty good value in all honesty.
Edit to add the notion that those who post on P&B somehow expect guaranteed success is laughable in all honesty, I see no evidence of that on either site.

The majority of your posts on here and the P&B site ( Rusty1111) are completely pointless IMO .
A waste of time and effort

As has been said, there are some good contributions by the likes of RJC and others. One of the main ( glass very half full ) contributors hatred of our Boards vote re rangers has clouded his senses in an extreme way . Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees !
