Might be just me but I'd say giving youngsters a game when the team is playing with confidence would be the best time?? Or at least putting them on the bench!? Example Clement wanted to add some pace in January, got Camara and Blackman in when we had three very vibrant Pacey youngsters in Bennett, McDonald and Zanzala, who subsequently got loaned out, would it have been Unthinkable to maybe put them on the bench? While we were flying high??

I wondered why Zanzala didn't get a run, he was getting rave reviews in the under 21s. The other two I don't think have what it takes to play at this level.

Playing rookies from the academy have to be introduced from the bench and slowly bring them into the team for confidence, even a great player playing in front of 200 will find it a bit nerve racking and different than playing in front of 30,000.
The right Introduction is key to any player. I'd always have a young gun on the bench just in case he could be introduced when the moment is right!

Heard the rumours of affairs that the ex manager was supposed to have been having but that's all they were rumours. His wife was reported to have moved out of their home here and gone to back to Spain, which could have been sufficient for the manager to lack focus on his job and eventually lose it.

He won't have commented because he probably isn't allowed to, he clearly wasn't sacked for just footballing reasons, if he was being a naughty boy maybe he is still under investigation and maybe is on gardening leave currently....who knows
