Dale Hilson instead of Beany is the only change tonight in the starting line up .

1-0 down, quick throw all the forwards on, all 4 of them!

No play offs this year unless Fowler does something about the lack of chances that the team are creating. Just looked at the stats, not a shot on target yet after 35 minutes.Come on James time to step it up!!!

Time to step up? There is only 9 games left. More like get ready to step down.
Still possible to make the play offs. Relegation ones..

Murdoch scores agaisnt Hibs but doesn't feature tonight. Goal scorers Lyle and Russell on the bench. Can anyone actually make any sense of this??

Hugely disappointing defeat but not surprising . Match stats in URL box. 52% possession we had but FAR less shots at goal than Rovers. - view external link

I am struggling at the moment to stay positive . Cannot believe we didn't start Murdoch . Conroy starting is a mystery to me and we can't afford passengers / luxury players at this time .

    After 26 league games played
    We've lost 12 of them
We've failed to score in 9 of them
    We've lost more points than we've won 44 lost & 34 won
We've only scores 24 goals from 26 games
Derek Lyle is our top goal scorer with 7 but hasn't scored for over 2 months
We've only had 9 clean sheets so far

and most importantly , more and more supporters are becoming disalutioned with performances

Poor stuff last night. I hummed and hawed about going ( from Embra), so I felt sorry for those who had a long way to get back to Dumfries, past the inevitable roadworks on the bridge. When I got into the ground on kick-off to find the usual stand was shut and I was stuck amongst Rovers fans in that curious wee old corner stand, I saw the team on the pitch and wished I hadn't bothered going. The game had QOS NIL written all over it. Sure enough at the end of 90 mins we hadn't troubled their keeper once. The Pickard experiment I cannot get. I suppose Hilson starting was worth a go. It didn't work out well though. Where was the scorer v Hibs? Where was Beanie ( responsible with Del for most of our goals? OK Lyle is coming back from injury but why not give him the first 45. As it was two howlers later he came on with Beanie when the game was about lost anyway. Frustrating.
I don't think I'll be bothering with Greenock or Paisley. See you at Palmy. Only 4 to go.

The starting 11 last night had a total of just 3 goals between them all season.

Highlights of last nights game are on the Raith website. That was a shocking performance. It looked like the team hadn't played together before. Raith could have had five goals without even playing that well.Get it sorted before Saturday Mr. Fowler!
