All clubs have at some point got rid of players and bought players before a new manager is appointed - most of the players listed are on the Fringe or beyond that, so clubs lose them to improve the new managers budgets. Mel can pay 3million for a player and give him away if he wants to as it's his money

I can't help but think that our new Manager would not take kindly to someone having made decisions regarding the playing staff before he had a chance to assess the players, particularly as there is every possibility that some of the current "dogs" may well perform very differently under the new regime. I also can't think that our new man would take kindly to being told "I paid for that player so I can do what I like with him" Don't think it works that way with good managers.

Lanky You are right but the trouble with our lot is you never know how there going to play donkeys one week then the next week they canblow anyone away in this division That's why we can not put the same eleven out every week

I'd get rid of the following:

Grant - Dodgy as hell, wages are probably a bit and think Mitchell or Roos can provide enough cover.
Baird - Don't see any point in him. He provides cover but when he does play he's poor.
Shotton - S***
Buxton - Think he's had his day bless him. I'd like him to go and do well elsewhere.
Albentosa - Clearly hasn't settled
Hanson (on loan) - Not good enough for the first team. Needs some experience lower down before he's good enough at this level.
Bryson - I know, I know. But I think we have too many centre midfielders. Hughes, Hendrick and JB all have potential. Johnson has something to prove.
Camara - Something has obviously cracked off here. May as well get rid of him if he's going to cease to exist. I'd like to give him a chance but I'm not sure that's going to happen.
Bent - For how much he's probably costing us in wages, I don't think it's reflecting in how much we're getting back.
