    One thing I have to disagree with is that Mel going into the changing room and being "hands on" means he won't want a strong manager. I actually think it's to the contrary. Surely if he actually trusts the manager to do the job he'd be able to let them get on with it?

    He did say he didn't want an experienced manager telling him how to run Iit all ......

    Pearson is experienced ....and stands no nonsense.

    The only manager who will go along with the mythical 'Derby Way' is either a desperate failure or a novice (or both). Derby is an attractive proposition for many managers but is Mel??
