Sounded OK to me only a couple of errs, no ,'you know', no 'as I say'. What the hell do you want him to say this is my dream job, I'm going to sign half the Leicester team, we'll walk the Championship and go on to win the Prem followed by the European Cup.

Let's be honest, this is hardly Pearson's dream job. I think it's most likely true that he'd rather be back at Leicester with the team he largely put together that just won the Premier League.

But he isn't so he has to find whichever other best fit he can find. And Derby is a decent sized clubs with big ambitions and an owner who has made it clear that he will invest in the playing squad and not try to wing it on a shoe string, whilst forcing the manager to sell the better players. The training facilities are great, the stadium gets good sized crowds and there is already a sound base of a squad to work with.

In the absence of a steady premier league club wanting him, if this one isn't a good fit then I don't know what is. And for him, that's all this is, just a good fit.

    I'm happy enough with that.

I don't care if he is inarticulate, half crazy or shags wombats! As long as he has the club challenging at the right end of the championship playing half decent football I will be happy

And most of the press hate Pearson....especially Pat Murphy whore tore Pearson a "new one" in THAT interview.

Whichever club he has been at, Pearson has always been grumpy, miserable and non-cooperative with the media, instead of promoting the club in a positive way.

Siege mentality I suppose....often works. Perhaps Rams fans will enjoy NP trying to "strangle" opposition players.[/quote]

Why are you bothered you worried you will be relegated and we will take your place?
