Will you be going to the next match in Houston? US vs Argetina (most likely)
No mate. Time constraints. Also too bloody expensive at $2-300 a ticket!

Yes, the prices have been very controversial. A lot of tickets are only part of packages as well. Loved having a copa America here, but I hope that even if there's a combined CONCACAF-CONMEBOL tournament consistently in the future, that they rotate sites.

This Mexico-Chile match is incredible. Up and down, up and down. Interesting contrast to the Euro where a lot of teams are more deliberate with the ball. Latin American footy probably gives tacticians annoying headaches because of turnovers and such, but these are two skilled teams. Never letting each other have a moment to think or catch their breath. I don't think I could last more than 5 minutes playing at such a pace.

Wow. 5-0 in favor of Chile with 25 plus stoppages to go. Mexican fans have been throwing debris on the field since Chile scored their third in the second half.

A close game in the end Mich, only 7-0 to Chile

Argentina V USA tomorrow downtown. What do you reckon Mitch? 3-1 the Argies for me. I think the USA will put up a good show but in the end the man for man class difference will tell.

I predicted the same outcome to my friend last night. As long as we don't lose like Mexico did, I won't feel too bad.

Oh dear, worse than I thought. The difference in talent was enormous, too much for any amount of effort to overcome. Still, regroup and try again next time. Don't know if Klinnsman is the man to take them forward though.

We went with a lineup to bunker down. No one in the midfield capable of maintaining possession but Zusi. Went down early so entire strategy shot to hell. Should have made attacking subs earlier. Not that it would have made a big difference anyways. Good to see the 17 year old Pulisic play an entire half against such a good team. He'll know where he needs to get now.

Chile has won again. Against Argentina again. On penalties again.

Messi flew his penalty over the bar. He was clearly in shock after Chile won. Feel for him (though his millions of dollars and hundreds of trophies are adulation enough I suppose). He is contemplating international retirement (as is half the Argentine squad) now. Argentine federation in shambles as well.
