Why are you going to Poland Cambusman

I lived in Poland for 3 years, came back to Scotland in 2008. Why Im moving back:

In Poland you dont so much of the the self entitled, world owes owes me something, lazy benefits culture. You rarely get spolied brats with egos through the roof who think they are everything but have very little to back it up. You do get rudeness but rarely in Poznan where Im going - people are polite, customer service is fantastic, great quality food, great weather (four actual seasons - 30 degrees in summer, -10 in winter), and you can go to the town centre on a saturday night with your family and not be harrased or terroised of drunken teenage erseholes looking for fights.

with Scotland specifically I can no longer live in a place with such a child/dependency relationship we have here with the UK, the blame and lack of any sense of responsibilty as a nation, the tangible lack of confidence to go on our own and the mistaken belief we cant. I also have had enough of the parochial small mindedness and sectarianism.

Not saying Poland is perfect but its a better place to live and raise kids IMO. Were selling up next year and Im going to try to run my UK business from there.

Aye Cambusman there's a few thousand polish here in Aberdeen they all work hard and if they want something extra they will happily work extra hours to get it.

My daughter is living with a nice polish lad..

I will also say this they respect their parents and the older generation.
