The point Andy was actually making was...He was proud to lead the Olympic Team out. (and rightly so) Most certainly not to be waving the Butchers Apron. No decent person could be proud of that flag of shame. Andy's flag and the one he is most proud of is the saltire. I don't mind the Union Flag that much - Our island has a chequered history, and England never beat anyone in a war - except the French - without the aid of Scotland. Every nation has a crap in their history, and all those wonderful nations that fought for their independence have spent much of the last century macheteing each other to death.

I'm a very decent person and am very proud of the Union flag. I'm waiting to get a tattoo of it I am that proud of it. And Murray is very proud to carry the Union Flag as he should be.
