So, we've gone from a side who can beat Hull away to one that cannot string a pass together and is squabbling amongst its senior players. So why is that? A managerial change is supposed to bring a honeymoon period and increased effort from the players?!? Or maybe, the players just don't seem to understand what the new manager wants? I know what I think....

It certainly wasn't great, but that 0-3 debacle against Hull in the first leg play off wasn't much better, playing the team and formation which is suppose to work!!

Too early to call Pearson IMO but he only has 8 games left before my optimism evaporates!!

Sorry Acido, the fact that I hadn't heard of Heckinbottom wasn't meant to sound condescending, just making the point that our famous manager and wealthy household name players were completely out thought and out fought by your more 'home grown' side yesterday.

I just wasnt sure if you had heard of him actually, and to be honest a lot of fans probably havent if they arent from Yorkshire

Yep, that's me Acido. All went pear shaped with the new look board. Lost about 1800 posts too. Roger also delights in calling me Mangara.
Anyway...your man Heckinbottom did a good job on us at the weekend...I like home grown players and managers, not too many around these days.

Yes homegrown means a lot still to fans these days, and although Im not from Barnsley I appreciate Hecky all the more for it.
We're still having to look at most of our games as big tests, but thats what being in the Champship is all about.

Anag, Ive heard of a few fans losing their Id when the boards made the big change over. Footymad made a total mess of it didnt they.

Certainly seem to have lost a few valued ones Acido. Cornwall, Manx and Vanderlaan's Header to name but three who I don't think have been back since the change over. Never understood why the 'like' button went either.
