Hi Frenchie, I am like my old man, independent, he told me that most of the kids at his school were Wall but he chose Palace. He used to take me to Selhurst in the sixties but I chose Spurs, mainly because of Greavsie. Dad was in the RAF and so I lived overseas for about 6 years in total, on and off. There weren't many Londoners or even southerners for that matter in the forces so we used to cheer for most southern teams against the rest. Mum's mum lived in Catford, Davenport Road which I am sure you will know is the next road to George Lane!! Small world ain't it? I used to get Nan her booze from the George Pub and one year I got chewing gum stuck in my hair and the lady in the chip shop in George Lane cut my hair to get rid of the gum. Used to play at Mountsfield Park and went to ABC in Brownhill Road for Saturday morning pictures.
